Discover Walmer Bridge Village Hall

The Hall

Walmer Bridge Village Hall was built in 1976 and opened in 1977.

Local fundraising events had taken place in previous years to allow this project to go from a possibility to a reality.

Committee

The day to day running and management of the hall is undertaken by a dedicated hardworking group of people who give up much of their free time to serve on the Committee.

There is always room for more members, and the committee are always open to innovative ideas and suggestions

Volunteers

Whilst the Committee oversee the running of the hall they alone could not ensure that events such as the Beer & Bounce festival, Summer Fete and Halloween Bonfire would take place.

For events such as these the committee rely on another group of hardworking people known as our Volunteers.

Once again there is always room for more people to get involved.

Free Time

If anyone has spare time, from an ad hoc basis or regular commitment, they would like to spend helping, the local community please consider joining our team as a Volunteer or Committee member, you would be most welcome.
